I was looking through pictures at the Emmys and I was eager to try out the bold eye look that Lena Dunham was sporting. I felt like she definitely stood out of the crowd and carried it well with nude lips and soft cheeks. Today I’m going to show you how to achieve this look!

Have you guys seen miley cyrus’s latest video ‘we can’t stop’? Well frankly it’s kind of all over the place in my opinion but I love the retro chic look she has on. I have been noticing most music videos lately with various artists have been sporting such classic looks. I have done enough of neutral pin up type looks but really wanted to do this too!

The face is very minimal in fact you might just need bronzer to warm up your face and a bright red lip.

I haven’t done a tutorial in ages so why not do a celerity inspired one instead to get back on track? I recently promised ill do a tutorial on Aishwariya rai’s look which she wore with her grey Elle Saab. I love this look and I’m sure most you would do as well. a grey Smokey eye is Aishwariyas signature look and this is the same case with a slight pop of antique gold. Hope you enjoy!

 Most of you all must be aware of the Cannes festival 2013 going on and with all the celebrities walking the red carpet for various movie premieres, it can get pretty over whelming! One of the looks that were standing out were no doubt, Sonams with her exaggerated winged liner and her statement nose ring, I think she did well compared to her appearances last year at Cannes. I was desperate to recreate this look with a tutorial so her you go :)

Step 1

Prime your lids with a shimmery champagne shade on the inner corners of your eyes and also the lower inner lash line.

Step 2

Use a shimmery mocha pigment or e/s and apply it all over the lids leaving out the area the champagne shade was applied.

I was just thinking about more ideas for posts in my blog and I thought why not do a segment where I re create an eye look that a celeb is wearing. Im naming it 'Get the look'. Usually the hardest part of a look are the eyes so that would be my focus!

The picture that inspired me is one of kareena kapoor ant one of her movie promotions. This was quite unique from her usual looks and really simple. Check out the inspiration pic below!
