Review and swatches:120 eye shadow palette

Hey “BD beauties”!

As most of you would know by now that I love using eye shadow palettes for my eye tutorials, I figured I review another favourite palette. I have previously reviewed the 168 eye shadow palette and also the 28colour neutral palette but I can safely say that my favourite is the 120 eye shadow palette from www.tmart.com it’s not the typical one with the black casing but it’s one with a wallet style cover.
This was the first ever eye shadow palette I got and I can’t stop getting excited about the quality of these shadows!

My experience with this product

Pigmentation: if you look at the swatches below, you can notice how well their pigmentation is. I can say that all the 120 shades in here are highly pigmented and that there isn’t any hot or miss like in the 168palette.
Staying power: i have tried these without a primer and they work amazing!! With a primer they would last on until you remove them off. But without a primer, they would stay bright for about 4 hours until they crease. Even if you do not have a primer, i would recommend you use your concealer as a base.

About the colours: the colours are really random but the shades i would wear.  The shades are grouped by 5 but you can obviously use it anyway you would want. I find that there are a lot of repeated shades as well but fortunately the repeated ones are the shades I love!!

Multipurpose shades: the champagne shade in this palette is perfect for a highlight for light to medium skin tones. I’m using this as a highlighter currently and I’m in love! Duskier skin toned girls would also find a highlighter for their shades as i see a lot of golden bronzy shades as well.

Packaging: in my opinion, the packaging seems way secure than the black casing like the 168 palette. The cover has a soft finish and shuts perfectly with a stud. However, I am a bit worried about how I would close it if in case the stud broke. The wallet style looks really fab. It has a multi dimensional finish which is pretty. Packaging matters right? At least for me it does: D

Other qualities: the consistency of the shades are not chalky whatsoever. The shades can be blended super easy and has the ability to stay on well.

I recommend this palette to anyone! The pigmentation is great and for the price, you shouldn’t be having second thoughts.
