Today’s review is going to be of the L’Oreal Paris project runway limited edition quad in shade Muse’s Gaze no716 ($8.95 here). My experience with this product

I had previously got a blush from this project runway collection and loved it for its packaging so I had to grab this! The quad is in the similar packaging as the blushes from this line which is very sturdy and thick plastic it definitely doesn’t seem cheap to begin with. The quad also comes with a standard sponge tip applicator.

I have recently been playing with most of the makeup I got in my most recent haul and I was really inspired to use the dark forest green in the L’Oreal Runway limited edition quad in ‘Muse’s Gaze’. The shade is a dark green (almost black) with green glitters. This is going to be a dark green Smokey eye step by step tutorial. This is also a great holiday makeup for the night time! Enjoy!

• Start off with a primer. I have used the Jordana eye primer (REVIEW HERE). Once that’s done, apply black kohl as a base and spread it all over the lid using a synthetic eye brush.

As you are all aware of the Cannes festival and probably intrigues by all the appearances, I came across Cheryl cole’s picture at the red carpet. She looked extremely fabulous with her maroon gown and her amazing hairstyle. Her makeup really intrigued me; her makeup went with purple hues which complimented extremely well with the outfit.

I have never been a person who go crazy with lip liner and having them in a ton of shades instead I used to have a standard rosy pink shade to go with any lipstick I’m wearing but since I’m going crazy with other makeup products, I thought i might as well purchase a new eye liner and the one I went for is the L’Oreal colour riche lip liner in the shade forever rose.

My experience with this product

The first reason for this purchase was that it was a retractable pencil which I find really helpful and also makes sure you use up all the product compared to the sharpening ones where you lose tons of product. Since I was buying this online, I went for a neutral lip liner as I wasn’t too sure with the colour on the screen and the shade is a kind of MLBB shade.

The products also comes with a sharpening thing on the end which i suppose is to sharpen the tip of the liner for precise application, however I find that this is unnecessary as the lip liner is thin already and sharpening it, you would end up losing more product.

I find a lip liner is a crucial step in  lip makeup routine as it contributes to long lasting true to colour of the lipstick, read my lip routine to know about how to make your lipstick last long. This lip liner satisfies its claims of being anti- feathering and also lasts long even if my lipstick comes off due to eating and drinking, I find that the lip liner is always there.

Today I’m going to review the infamous L’Oreal elnett satin hairspray! I finally got to try it; thanks to my cousin J this is one of the long lived products in the beauty industry and has kept up to the competition from the many other brands! I would rate this a 9/10 with the 1 rating going off for a feature of this hairspray which I guess most beauty addicts would have known by now! Read on to know my take on this product!

The strength of this particular one is ‘supreme hold’ and has 200 ml of product.

My experience with this product

Before trying the product, I had high expectations and hope because of all the fame it had and how it’s been a favourite for many woman. But I having a strong nose for smell quickly grasped the scent as I sprayed it in my hair. The smell was HORIBBLE! Although i did read about the scent and how sick it was, it didn’t pop onto my head until I smelled it myself. It has a very chemical like scent and kind of made me think if it’s really a good product. But the answer was yet to come. After having my hair curled, I sprayed it onto my hair about and arms length away and it diffused the spray with the lightest mist.
