Hey “BD beauties”!

I have recently been playing with most of the makeup I got in my most recent haul and I was really inspired to use the dark forest green in the L’Oreal Runway limited edition quad in ‘Muse’s Gaze’. The shade is a dark green (almost black) with green glitters. This is going to be a dark green Smokey eye step by step tutorial. This is also a great holiday makeup for the night time! Enjoy!

  • Start off with a primer. I have used the Jordana eye primer (REVIEW HERE). Once that’s done, apply black kohl as a base and spread it all over the lid using a synthetic eye brush.

  • Once that’s done pick up a chocolate brown shade and sweep it onto the crease to warm up the look and too blend out the harsh edges from the base.

  • Next using a wet eye shadow brush, pick up a dark green shadow and pat it on the entire lid stopping right at the crease.

  • Next pick up a darker brown shade and apply it onto the crease while blending the lid colour slightly. If the lid colour fades off, add on more!

  • Highlight your inner corner using a pale gold eye shadow. I’m using the one from the Maybelline eye studio quad in makeover mocha (REVIEW, SWATCHES AND PHOTOS HERE).

  • I also highlighted my browbone using a matte cream shade from the wet n wild coloricon palette in greed (REVIEW, SWATCHES AND PHOTOS HERE)

  • Tightline and also line your waterline with a black eye liner and blend out the lower lash line using the dark green with a pencil brush.

  • Apply falsies and pack on TONS on mascara. I find darker eye looks better with a heavy bottom lash.
