This is going to be a review of my current favourite nude lipstick which is Maybelline colorsensational lipstick in the shade ‘My mahagony’. I recently mentioned that i ordered it online and I finally received it in the mailed and hauled it HERE. My experience with this product

Pigmentation: these lipsticks aren’t the most opaque formulas but i wouldn’t complain too much as they are extremely moisturising! They are not sheer as well to the point where they become a tinted lip balm.

Staying power: this is the only downside of this lipstick line as they are extremely moisturising, they would easily transfer or swipe away from your lip throughout your daily activities. Try my lipstick routine to have longer lasting lip colour no matter what lipstick you use!

Scent: these lipsticks have a vanilla scent which isn’t completely natural vanilla like but seems pretty fake. Many girls love this but not me. The smell does fade away.

Packaging: love the packaging on these! These help to identify the colour family of the lipstick easily as the cap of the lip stick is either red, pink, brown etc according the category it belongs to. This makes it easy to find the shade you’re reaching for rather than having to open up every lipstick.

Shade range: according to maybellines website, there are 68 shades in this range which is alot! This might make it hard for you to choose what you want as well too so make sure to read reviews and view swatches online before purchasing online.

About the shade my mahagony: I would definitely categorize this shade as a nude shade for girls with medium skin tones with warm undertones.

Overall verdict

I cannot tell you how well this goes with my skin tone for an overall natural shade. If you’re like me, having medium skin tone with warm or yellow undertones, this is your nude lipstick with perfect pricing, good colour pay off and moisturization it cannot be missed!
