a review of one of those which is the Clinique all in one colour palette! This is
my first ever Clinique product so I was nothing but excited to try it and i can
safely say that I’m impressed! Read on to know my hones views on this!

My experience with this product
I’m not a person who do a lot of travelling but when I do
travel, sorting out my travel makeup bag is a great hassle as I cannot figure
out which products I would want and making sure I take every possible product I
could think of so I don’t feel frustrated not having something. But in the
recent years I have come to the realisation that you wouldn’t use too many when
you’re travelling anyways! Concerning all the real travel needs, I would say without
a doubt that this palette is definitely a palette that’s travel appropriate!
Variety in lipstick shades: although the shadows provided
are all neutral shades, Clinique has provided great variety with the lipstick
shades which i think is much thought through as almost 90% of women would wear
neutrals and their preferences are usually biased when it comes to lipsticks. This
palette has a true red, nudes, and couple more.
A great eye shadow quad: in my defence I would say that
travelling isn’t the time to experiment with bold looks as you wouldn’t want to
look like a hot mess unless you have mastered your signature look so having
neutral shades is a smart choice for Clinique. All the shadows are pigmented
and not chalky at all keeping up with the quality of its brand name. I demonstrated

Tools: I’m usually the person who care less about the tools
provided in makeup palettes but I realise that for a person who travels with
very less space and time, small tools like these help a lot! And quite frankly
the tools aren’t cheap at all! The hairs are really soft and haven’t shed.
Face powder & blush: one thing which is a downside of
this product is that I would highly recommend this palette as a travel palette
only to girls with light or light/medium complexions as the powder and blush doesn’t
work for other skin tones! I have medium complexion with warm undertones and
the powder doesn’t work for me at all.
As for the blush, it looks really pretty which I can
describe as a dusty mauve/ earth tone and this blush doesn’t show up on my skin
at all. I tried applying it at least 5 times but it just doesn’t so if you’re
expecting a palette with a good blush, powder for medium skin tones or darker I
wouldn’t recommend.
This palette also comes with a sample size high impact extreme volume mascara which i will dedicate a complete review.
Packaging: I love the packaging in this product; the lid has
a mirrored finish and really sturdy packaging. However I do find that the
mirrored area is prone to finger prints. The palette does come with a big
mirror which again is a bonus for travelling.

What’s great about this product?
- Sturdy packaging
- Good selection of shades
- Good quality tools
- Perfect travel palette for light skin toned girls
What’s not so great?
- Expensive
- Girls with medium or darker skin tones won’t be able to make full use of this as a travel palette
- Packaging is prone to a lot of finger prints

Overall verdict
Perfect travel palette whit the smart selection of shades
and tools BUT only perfect for lighter skin tones!

ReplyDeleteyeah but my reasoning is that i wouldnt want to pay 50 dollars just to use at home while we can find amazing makeup for cheaper that are not intended for travel :)
