Hey “BD beauties”!
Tutorial: Easy Cranberry smokey eye and EOTD |
I was planning for a simple Smokey eye tutorial but since I
have done it with black already (Check HERE for a basic black Smokey eye) thought
I would do something like a cranberry shade! This looks so flattering on brown
eyes and it is a pretty sultry look! At the same time its a more wearable Smokey
eye.
So let’s get started!
Tutorial: Easy Cranberry smokey eye and EOTD |
Step 1
Prime your lids with a primer close to your skin tone and
line your upper lash line with a kohl pencil. Using a smudge brush or a crease
brush, smoke out the line making it well blended at the edges.
Step 2
Pack on the cranberry shade all over the lids and slightly
on the crease as well.
Step 3
Highlight your brow bone with a champagne shade that has a
satin finish.
Step 4
Blend away the edges from the lid colour, use the fluffy
blending brush here and lend using circular motions.
Step 5
Tight line and also line your water line with the same lack
kohl
Step 6
Using a stiff eye shadow brush, lend out the lower lash line
with the cranberry shade and smoke out the lower lash line. Don’t ring the
colour far down.
Step 7
Apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes. I have avoided
liquid liner as the kohl gives a really Smokey look which I think looks really
good with the cranberry shade.
Step 8
Apply on false lashes! I have used my favourite ones that
get longer in the ends. Check my false lash collection HERE. And learn how to
apply falsies HERE.
And the look is complete! I have always loved my liquid
liners but looking at this now, I just love how the Smoked kohl looks! :)
