January Beauty Favorites

Hey “BD beauties”!

Let me start off apologizing for being M.I.A in the blog but I had sudden issues with my laptop that everything I had planned couldn’t be done. But here I’ am back and I really wanted to do a January favorites post even though its 8 days into February already!!
I tried a lot of new makeup products this month but I only have a few of them coming into my favorites post.

 False lashes from www.tmart.com

I usually don’t love cheap lashes but if you really look into it there are a few styles that don’t look plastic like and have thick bands. This particular style looks less plastic and has a less thick band. I love to have a thinner band than this so what I do is snip off half of the lash band using a cuticle scissor and the lash looks really natural once you curl them and apply mascara with your natural lashes.

Jordana brow powder in shade ‘brunette’

Dark bold brows are what I love to have while I carry a dramatic eye look and finding a really dark brown is really hard to achieve. This one is really perfect to go along with the wax in the elf brow kit in dark which is my next favorite brow product!

Covergirl flamed out mascara (REVIEW HERE)

It wasn’t my favorite at first. I felt as though the wand was too big and doesn’t suite girls with short lashes. But I have being recently rediscovering the ability of this mascara. It gives exceptional volume and length with separation.

Small flat top white brush from ebay.com

I love the sigma precision kit but when I was in the verge of buying it, I came across this brush in eBay for just $1.58 this also comes with a lot other styles of brushes like the flat top kabuki brush etc. this particular rush is great to set under eye concealer and fits perfectly for that purpose. You can buy it HERE.

Maybelline colorsensational lip gloss in shade ‘sugared honey’ (REVIEW HERE) and NYX round lipstick in shade ‘Hermes’ (REVIEW HERE)

I’m in love with this lip combo! It gives the perfect nu*e lip which looks amazing in photos!

Revlon nail paint in shade ‘touch of mauve’

This is my most worn nail paint. It’s a perfect neutral shade for my skin tone and looks extremely flattering especially on long nails! Worn HERE

What was your favorite/s this month?
