Review: Indola thermal protector smooth

Hey “BD beauties”!

Today is going to be another hair care review and its about INDOLA thermal protector smooth. Thermal protectors are an essential if you use hot tools including a low dryer. I have reviewed Freeman’s papaya thermal protectant in my blog HERE which is a great one too. Indola is a brand famous in my country for hair colours etc it’s a good quality brand and a thermal protectant was definitely exciting!

What do they say about the product?

Review: Indola thermal protector smooth
Indola Innova Setting Thermal Protector Spray provides protection against damages to hair caused by heat styling. Blow dryers and flat irons can damage hair leaving it dry and brittle. This spray protects, hydrates and softens hair to leave it manageable and shiny.

Use of styling irons and hairdryers can begin to damage the hair, especially with frequent use, but it would be a bit much to say stop using them completely. A much more sensible solution is to use Indola Innova Smooth Thermal Protector. It contains moisturising silk extract which gives a controlled silky and shiny look and protection against heat.

What do they claim?

Benefits & Features
  • protects, hydrates, and softens hair when styling with a heat styling tool.
  • Hold level: 2/5
  • Contains moisturising silk extract which gives a controlled silky and shiny look.

My experience with the product

Packaging: the product comes in a plastic bottle which is durable and can survive falls easily which is extremely important with products like this. The best part about the packaging for me is the spray nozzle. I love this type of nozzle compared to the standard sprayer. It’s just easier to hold.
It does have a weird scent to it but does the job perfectly. A good heat protectant has to have a formula that is thick enough to coat your hair strands yet be able to wash off easily rather than causing build up leading to greasy hair. I feel like this meets all it’s to be a decent heat protectant.

Lives up to its claims? Definitely, i wouldn’t say it’s the best but it’s not the worst also. If it does protect your hair for such a good price ($14) you cannot complain.

What’s great about this product?
  • Sturdy packaging
  • Does protect hair

What’s not so great?
  • Many other countries don’t find this brand easily
  • Is expensive according to different areas

Overall verdict
Great product if you’re just starting out. Protecting your hair is important and this will do the job. However, be aware that if the price is expensive than $14, I wouldn’t recommend you getting it as there are other options like the Freemen papaya heat protectant. Hope this helps J
