Hey “BD beauties”!
Do you have acne issues and even more worse, the scarring that it leaves behind? I know how that feels as i still suffer from acne scarring. No matter what i do, the scars stay at the same pigmentation level which quite frustrating! Recently I read how bio oil helps fade acne scarring and stretch marks but its just too expensive so i researched about essential oils and how it helps with acne scars and i found many options!
One thing you have to keep in mind is that you need to purchase quality oils rather than those which are diluted.
Tea tree oil
This particular oil has properties to reduce inflamed areas removing fungi and bacteria. It’s a topical treatment used for acne. And also is considered as a natural alternative to benzyl peroxide. If you treat re oil is extremely strong, I recommend you dilute it with 5 : 95 ratios where 5% is the oil and 95% water.
Just as the name tells, this oil is taken from the stems of the lavender flower. It’s known to have an extremely strong scent that many don’t love so if you have a strong nose, I wouldn’t recommend you using it. However, its benefits are great. It reduces acne scarring as well as bio oil and is much cheaper. Lavender oil is also a great oil to promote relaxation to your so a massage with it on your scarring areas would soothe you a lot!
This oil is a least recognized one but is as good s the above two! This oil is known to have properties that increase the ability of your skin to reproduce cells faster thus your scarred areas can be repaired extremely quickly.
Rose itself is something that is combined with aromatic therapies and skin issues. Its benefits are a variety. It’s said that it smoothes skin and also treats acne effectively. And the best part is that it suits all skin types so you don’t have to worry about reactions!
I hope this quick post helped all you ladies out there who have acne scarring issues like myself. To read about how to cover acne with makeup read HERE. And I also have a post about fading acne scars without essential oils which you can read HERE.
