Hello my beautiful people, 

Today I wanted to talk to you guys about two brand new releases to the Tea Tree line at The Body Shop, Sri Lanka. Tea tree 3 in 1 wash, scrub, mask & Tea tree Anti imperfection Daily solution! 

A little background info about my skin type: I have combination skin which is oily on the T zone and normal elsewhere. I do have acne prone skin which fluctuates quite bit depending on my diet! This makes me a great candidate to try this line out since that’s the skin type the tea tree range caters to. 

Tea tree 3 in 1 wash, scrub, mask 

What TBS claims about this product: A 3-in-1 product which can be used as a wash, a scrub or a mask to combat blemishes and excess oil.: 

 When used as a wash, the foaming clay removes impurities and excess oil  As a scrub, the exfoliants unclog pores, smooth skin’s surface and reduce the appearance of blackheads  When applied as a mask, the drying clay reduces blackheads and shine, deeply cleanses, mattifies and tightens pores 

125 ml of product costs 3400 Sri lankan rupees. 

My views on this product: First thing of the back, the smell. It’s a strong smell which personally gives me a calm, soothing feel but may not appeal some. It does feel cool on the skin too which is quite refreshing. This product as its called is a 3 in 1 product. Can be used as a face wash, scrub and kept on as a mask. I LOVE THIS IDEA! Perfect for people who needs a quick and effective skin care routine. I personally love to scrub and leave it as a mask about twice a week. I would scrub for about 30 seconds and leave it on for about 10 to 15 mins. Once you wash it off, it gives you an instant radiance and a much smoother feeling skin. 

The granules in the product isn't harsh which is vital for a product catered to acne prone skin type. This makes it a super gentle scrub! 

MY LITTLE TIP: I don’t know if TBS would approve of this, but since all their products are vegan I use it as a lip scrub too whilst im at it for a quick scrub and it works amazing!

What TBS claims about this product: A lightweight, pre-serum concentrate that combats blemishes and improves the overall condition of skin.After 4 weeks, skin looks and feels: 

 Purified  Clearer  Smoother  Healthier  Clarified  Mattified  Soothed, with reduced redness and imperfections 

50ml costs 4400 Sri lankan rupees  

My views on this product: Girls with oily skin, moisturizers, humid weather, a very hard combination to work you like it or not. This is why a this serum is a mind blowing combination with the scrub. It has a very interesting consistency, not oily, not gel like but something in between. You don’t need a lot just a few drops and your good to go. I love to spend a few minutes to massage it into my skin right after washing my face.  

It works amazing under makeup too! Serums are more concentrated products so they do not sit on top of the skin but absorbs right in and does its wonders. This is why scrubbing your face will go great in hand with the serum. Scrubbing the dead skin off clears the top most layer of the skin helping the serum to absorb much faster and work effectively. This product has replaced my moisturizer and im loving what it's doing. I do notice that its claims for mattifying, smoothing are 100% true.
