Tutorial: Bright Spring/ Summer look

Hey “BD beauties”!

Since it’s the season is at spring/summer in most countries now, I figured why not do a tutorial inspired y this! This is not a typical look I go for. But if you to play it up with a nude lip, it becomes somewhat wearable. The look consists of green, orange and a pop of blue! Doesn’t that sound of summer already? ;)

Step 1 & 2

Apply a bright green shadow to the inner half of the lids and a bright orange to the outer half and using your brush and swipe it back and forth between the two colours to make it lend together.

Step 3

Using a clean fluffy blending brush and blend away the harsh edges, use your face powder with the blending brush to make it easier to blend.

Step 4

Using a shimmery champagne shade, highlight the inner corners of the eyes to catch light.

Step 5

Line the water line with a nude shade of liner or a light concealer this makes the eyes look bigger.

Step 6

Using a liner brush wet a blue shadow and line the lower lash line. This gives a lovely pop of bright colour. You might feel awkward when doing this thinking it’s a lot but once you line the upper lash line, it gets balanced out.

Step 7

Draw a relatively thick winged liner in order to balance the lower lash line. Flick it a little longer. Also using a white pencil, draw a line in between the upper line and lower line just to add a little more detail.

Step 8

Highlight the brow bone with the same champagne shade used to highlight the inner corners.

Step 9

Apply mascara and pop in falsies! And that’s it!

Note that for this look, I skipped applying mascara to the lower lash line just so the blue pops well.

You can play this up y muting the rest of your makeup. I would wear this with a neutral outfit as this has enough of colour in it.
