Hey “BD beauties”!
Hope you girls had a great weekend and I’m sorry that I couldn’t put up any post yesterday, just wanted a small break from blogging. But anyway I’m back today with a post that will be extremely informative to many people. I can imagine at least 70% of the ladies reading now have issues with stretch marks! Stretch marks occur due to many reasons; it could be weight gain, hormonal changes or pregnancy. Either way it should e kept in mind that stretch marks should be treated sooner they appear. The longer you wait, the harder it is to treat. I have done my research and found out a few treatments that are effective to most women.
|How to get rid of strech marks|
- Moisturizing as many times a day as you can is vital! Purchase one that has Shea butter or cocoa butter. Those are meant to be more effective with stretch marks. At least 5 times a day would e appropriate for strechmarks at the beginning stages. A DIY moisturiser for stretch marks could be mixing olive oil, aloe vera and wheat germ oil in equal parts.
- Increase your intake of vitamin c. It doesn’t only help with oral care but also with your stretch marks. Overtime, they reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
- Glycolic acid: its proven to work effectively on stretch marks that are new rather than what has been there for some time as those a relatively hard to cure!
- Vitamin E oil! Although this option is best of women who haven’t been pregnant, it works as a miracle cure! If you have wider stretch marks, I suggest you mix it in with your daily moisturizer.
That’s it ladies. Although there isn’t much. These 4 are the only ways other than surgery that is proved to have worked! If you do your own research you mind find there are many others but most of them don’t really work as stretch marks are tears in layers of the skin so it’s a pretty harsh effect on your skin.
Hope you try one of these methods. However, IF YOU’RE PREGNANT, YOU SHOULD NOT TRY ANY OF THESE EXCEPT MOISTURIZING.
