Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer in shade Medium Review, Swatches and Photos
Hey “BD beauties”!
Concealers are something I have been looking into just
recently after being inspired by the Kim K highlighting techniques that have
been going around. I really didn’t see myself doing advanced contouring and highlighting
because of the fact that it was too heavy for day to day use. Today i'm
reviewing my most used highlighting concealer which is the Maybelline instant
age rewind concealer in shade ‘Medium’

What does Maybelline say about this product?
Micro-corrector
applicator + super concentrated formula instantly create a radiant, refreshed
looking eye area. Super concentrated formula with goji berry + haloxyl helps to
erase the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, while visibly diminishing
the appearance of puffiness around the eyes.
My experience with this product
The product has great pigmentation and covers your dark
circles with just one layer of product. (If you have extreme dark circles you
should use a peach/ orange corrector and then apply a concealer). Liquid concealers
are the best for the under eye area since they are light weight and has a
smooth consistency thus having minimum creasing. I find that this concealer doesn’t
crease on me of I set it with a finishing powder and also doesn’t feel dry in
the under eye area.
This concealer is packaged in a hygienic method in mind but I
feel that the hygiene factor is reduced by the sponge applicator on the top
which will be contaminated if you apply it on active breakouts. That being said
I also do love the convenience that the applicator brings since it applies the
product evenly without caking up.
This product comes in the following shades: Fair, Light,
Medium, Honey, Neutralizer and Brightener.
