This is going to be a detail review and swatch post of the NARS lipstick in sexual healing. This lipstick came with the NARS Love thrill set which had other Lovely items including the NARS blush in super orgasm(Review:) The lipstick isn’t the typical lipstick a medium skin tone would opt for but let me tell you how it can work out for you perfectly.

My experience with this product

Sexual Healing is described as a shimmering pink blossom shade and I have to agree. The shade is a soft pink with shimmer which almost gives a frosty appearance to your lip. The lipstick is by no means claimed to be an opaque coverage so this wouldn’t be one for girls with pigmented lips since the colour wouldn’t show through. Although the shade has shimmers in it, it’s so fine that they are not uncomfortable or gritty on your lips what so ever. The formulation of the lipstick is quite moisturising too which makes this very practical. Now since this is a sheer coverage lipstick you might be wondering how to wear it other than just a lipstick. NARS’s website states that it appears a lot better when applied on top of a matte lipstick. Preferable just on the middle of the pout to make it appear plumper.

I personally think it looks lovely along with a nude gloss on top! The packaging is the typical NARS packaging with the velvet like finish which is a real pain to clean off since you can’t stop it from getting messed up in your makeup drawers. The NARS lipstick packaging is very durable and easily twistable (of course it makes sense for the $26)

It wears for about 4 hours or so but if you’re eating and drinking you might need to expect it to disappear off soon.
