Hope you are having a great week. Have you guys joined my Urban decay Naked 3 giveaway? Join HERE if you haven’t. I also have a huge 1st blog anniversary giveaway which you can check HERE. Today’s review is going to be of the new Maybelline color tattoo pure pigments in shade 10 Brash blue. I’m totally in love with this product its one of the best pigments I have ever used and super easy to work with. Read on to know more!

What does Maybelline say about this product?

Dare to wear intense eye shadow color! Double- dipped pigments create double color intensity for your most explosive eyes.

Superior long lasting eyeshadow staying power.

Intense pure pigments in our crease-proof, longwearing formula create explosive color for wear up to 24HR.

My experience with this product

I haven’t had great experience with pigments with many things going wrong like pigmentation or consistency so trying this out was not with a lot of expectations. The product has been packaged very well which I love! I appreciate that Maybelline decide to have a shifter at the mouth of the container so that only a little product is brought to the surface this makes it less messy. Other than that I do like how the colour is visible through the transparent container which makes it easy to spot among your makeup collection.

The product retails for $6.99 on Maybelline’s website for 1.5g of product which isn’t bad since you rarely finish up pigments to begin with. This will last forever. The consistency of this product is really soft and buttery; it reminds me a lot of the stila eyeshadows. The consistency makes application a lot easy and blending effortless. The product is really pigmented! This is the type of product which would be lovely for stage performers and those who want vibrant colours for dramatic eye looks. This is a good quality eye product for the price in my opinion. The longevity is amazing. It lasts for as long as I want to have on especially with a good primer like the NYX eye shadow base in skin tone. It would also be even more vibrant if you use it on a white base like the NYX jumbo eye pencil in MILK.

As for the colour Brash Blue, it’s the most vibrant blue I have ever seen. It’s lovely as and all over lid colour or as a pop of colour on the lower lash line. The colour is almost matte but has tiny specs of blue shimmer (its really faint).

What’s great about the Maybelline color tattoo pure pigments in shade 10 Brash blue?

  • Vibrant color payoff
  • Lasts very long
  • Easy to blend
  • Has a sifter
  • Isn’t chalky
  • Doesn’t have chunks of glitter

What’s not so great about the Maybelline color tattoo pure pigments in shade 10 Brash blue?

  • Nothing really

Overall verdict
This is my new favourite line of eye shadows! It has every characteristic an eye shadow pigment has to have and does appear really pretty on the eye lids. I highly recommend this product!
