Tutorial: Easy Graphite/ grey smokey eye

Hey “BD beauties”!

I’m back with a tutorial today and this is going to be a graphite Smokey eye! I always wanted to try the shade of grey but the lighter shade of grey never worked well for in fact, i wore a grey Smokey eye for my batch graduation for olevels and it was definitely washing me off! This type of eye makeup suites great for any skin tones so it is a very universal shade to play with.
In this tutorial I tried the Maybelline eyestudio quad in makeover mocha which is a very versatile neutral palette from which you can make day time as well as night time looks! Let’s get started!

Step 1
Prime your lids with a reliable primer (I’m using elf eyelid primer) and apply black kohl all over the eye lid keeping it below the crease. I find that this makes the shadow pop and also makes the shimmers stay in place.

Step 2
Apply the graphite shade all over the areas the kohl was applied and not taking it anywhere close to the crease.
