Hey “BD beauties”!
Today I’m coming to you with a review of the Anastasia
Beverly hills couture palette, which was released as a limited edition palette.
Two palettes were released at the same time, the artist palette and the couture
palette and the latter was what I felt as the most complete palette.
My experience with the product.
I was browsing through for a new palette from Anastasia and
there were two out at the time, instantly I had to get the couture palette
because of the mix. I’m a sucker for a perfect matte black and beautiful matte
browns to blend into the crease and this had both! ‘Noreviir’, the perfect black
created by Anastasia is by far my absolute favorite black ever since it came
into the market. Some of you might notice black turning into a greyish blue
tone when blending out and this shade will not do that.
The palette also has wonderful and vibrant shimmer shades
such as heirloom, bellini, pink champagne, chic, spoiled, azure, intense gaze
and metallic.
Almost all the shades a very pigmented to begin with but
there is is one shade ‘spoiled’ which I was very disappointed about. It
swatched terribly and what I got was most specs of glitters.
The palette comes with a good size mirror that you can
actually use as opposed to the bad quality mirrors that used to come in their
palettes before. The longevity of the shades on a basic eye primer or a bit of
concealer is amazing and fading is not evident.
Final verdict.
This is by far my favorite palette from Anastasia with the
exception of one shade, which was not swatching well.
