Review and swatches: Revlon Super lustrous lip gloss in 'shine that pink'

Hey “BD beauties”!

Hope your week is going great! This post is going to be a review of the Revlon super lustrous lip gloss in the shade ‘shine that pink’. You, me and everyone else in the beauty community know how great Revlon is with lip products especially with their lipsticks. I would say it’s the same story with the glosses too! Read on to know my views on it!

What does Revlon say about this product? (source)

Moisturizing Shine. Non-sticky Feel.

A silky gloss that boosts hydration and plumps lips with moisture for a colorful glamorous shine. Available in 12 gorgeous shades.

My experience with this product

When you take a look at my makeup drawer, you can see how little the lip products are that’s how much I’m not too interested with them. It’s a reason why i started getting myself into it. One main concern with glosses are that they tend to feel sticky and heavy on the lips but since Revlon claims it’s not like so, that made me even more curious to try it. It really does prove its claim you guys! It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips whatsoever and if you’re going for a light makeup look with just gloss on, it’s so comfortable to wear.
Longevity is pretty much the same with any glosses as they are meant to add shine. I wouldn’t say this is any exceptional in this context. It would last a lot longer if your applying it over a lipstick.

The scent isn’t anything exciting it just smells like lip gloss which is kind of a bummer. Another great thing is that these glosses do not have chunky glitters which im great full about. The packaging of these glosses are super sleek and not bulky but i kind of like the colorburst lip gloss packaging better.

I find that the pigmentation on these glosses is a little better than normal drugstore glosses like jordana. However if you have pigmented lips, it will counter acts with the pigmentation of these glosses as it’s not a stain/gloss.

What’s great about this product?
  • Good pigmentation
  • No chunky glitters
  • Sleek packaging
  • No disturbing scent
  • Lovely shades available
  • Not sticky

What’s not so great?
  • No special scent
  • Doesn’t stay on really long

Overall verdict

I love these glosses so far these are the best glosses i have tried so far and recommend these to any makeup lover! I would love to try more shades from this range so excited for that!

  2. I do have one, in Plum pearl which I love. I am not a gloss girl normally, but these feel so nice, and non sticky. Very moisturizing and smooth feeling. I also love that the size- perfect for my purse, and easier to use than the longer wands in the colorburst line.Thank You so much for sharing :)
